Guided Farm Tour at Juniper Hill Farm

We will take a walking tour of some of our favorite Juniper Hill fields and high tunnels, which include perennials such as asparagus, rhubarb, strawberries and herbs, as well as a large diversity of annual vegetables. Come ready to learn about how a wide variety of organic vegetables are grown in the Champlain Valley, including overwinter production. If crop allows, we may provide U-Pick and/or gleaning opportunities. Please pre-register here.

Considerations: Wear comfortable shoes and a hat. Bring plenty of water (drinking water is not available on-site). Much of the area to be toured is very flat and could be accessed by wheelchair. Friendly dogs are welcome on leash. Visitors with children and pets are asked to be mindful of the road traffic.

Meet at the Juniper Hill greenhouses on Lewis-Wadhams Road near the intersection of Hurley Road. You will see many greenhouses. Park on the road near the greenhouses East of Hurley Road (google maps coordinates 44.253927, -73.494758) Please note the meeting location is NOT our main farm location on Loukes Ln.

Open House, Garden Tour and Plant Sale

Join us for an open house with garden tours. A selection of perennial plants will be available for purchase. Pets on leash only, please.

Sunwarm Gardens is located in Vermontville, NY, about 12 miles outside of Saranac Lake. Our one acre farm includes a greenhouse, an unheated hoophouse with drip irrigation, and permanent beds for intensive production. For many years we sold mixed veggies at farmers markets and through CSA, before shifting to flower farming in 2018. The addition of a walk-in cooler in 2019 allows post-harvest conditioning, greatly improving the longevity of our cut flowers.
