The North Country Food Co-op is a community owned natural foods market located in downtown Plattsburgh. Founded in 1974 as a cooperative, the Co-op is run by its members and employs business practices that promote sustainable communities, organic and fair trade farming, small business, and local farmers and artisans. The Co-op has evolved into a vital downtown business specializing in local and organic produce, bulk foods, local and organic dairy, dietary supplements, and natural herbal remedies.
