Farmers’ Market Vendor
A gift of two hives sparked an eight-year adventure for husband-and-wife beekeepers John and Manon Mullane. After sharing the sweet rewards of their hobby with friends and neighbors, interest in their small-batch wildflower honey quickly grew. What began in a local farm store can now be found throughout the Adirondacks. John, a retired Lake Placid teacher, tends the hives with care, while interculturalist Manon bottles each harvest and hand-pours their beeswax candles. Every jar captures a bit of the sweetness and beauty of the Adirondack Mountains.
