Barred Owl Brook Farm is a 60-acre forage & tree crop farm nestled along the Adirondack Coast in the Split Rock Wildway. We focus on perennial production systems and practice agroforestry, the integration of trees and shrubs into farming systems. The primary enterprises include a tree crops nursery & a National Sheep Improvement Program (NSIP) - enrolled Katahdin hair sheep flock that we rotationally graze in a silvopasture system. Secondary farm products include a growing offering of perennial tree crops including pawpaw, chestnut and persimmon.
