Second Annual Tomato Festival

The Second Annual Tomato Festival, part of the Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmers’ Market, is scheduled for Friday, August 21st from 3 – 6 p.m.
The event will be held at the Recreation Field Pavilion on Library Avenue with plenty of parking and bathrooms.

Stop by for locally grown organic tomatoes, tomato recipes, sampler plates and much more! Donations are welcomed and appreciated.
Horticultural information and seasonal vegetable recipes will be provided by the Warren County CCE Master Gardeners.

Children’s activities including Hands on Crafts and Take & Make Kits.
Farmers’ Market T-Shirts and Tote Bags will also be available.

Local farms, bakers, craft beverage producers and artisans will be offering produce and value added products with a tomato theme.
Juniper Hill Farm will provide an abundance of locally grown produce including ripe, freshly picked tomatoes for salads, BLTs, sauces and canning.
Saratoga Apple will bring early season apples, cider and more…

Amazing Grazing & Bakery, Crown Point Bread Company, Dawn’s Delights, Halo’s Sweets and Treat, J. Gallup Farm and Love Bakes the World Go Round will feature baked goods: cakes, cookies, pastries, bagels, croissants and breads featuring tomato.

Amazing Grazing & Bakery will offer tomato pies, sundried tomato sourdough breads, bagels, focaccia and a variety of sourdough pastas and Italian desserts.
J. Gallup Farm will have sundried tomato herb focaccia and biscuits, salsas and a variety of quiches.
Springbrook Hollow Farm Distillery will feature a Bloody Mary Cocktail Sampling.Guava Leaf Juice Bar & Wellness Club will feature a Tomato Twist.
Don Whitefield will have samples of sundried tomato and garlic chicken sausage from Whitefield’s Farm.
Romina Giusta Gallagher will feature a tomato bruschetta arancini with tomato bacon jam on the side and sweet cannoli arancini.
Delbert Chambers with offer multi-color chicken and duck eggs from Trillium Farm.
Mike and Ingrid Richter will be selling organic maple syrup from Candy Mountain Maple.
Connie Smith will have her healthy, homemade dog and cat treats from The Pooch Pantry.
Linda O’Neil will create an amazing display of her own handcrafted silver and gemstone jewelry from For the Love of Rocks.
Bradway Krafts will feature wooden planters, birdhouses and signs.
Kelmview farm will offer floral bouquets and hand forged wrought iron from Sarah and Ben Thomas.
Ed Frulla, owner of Teohoken Turning, will be sharing the secret of stabilized highly figured spalted maple used to make his hand crafted jewelry.
Elizabeth Marshall will showcase her own themed fabric crafts from Calico Corner.
Spruceberry Pine Company will offer wood furniture, wood burning home decor, cutting boards and seasonal crochet items.
Deborah Bennett will be selling a “tomato leaf and coriander” handmade soap, rope baskets and woven products by Loon Song Soaps & Sundries.
Brooke Hample will feature themed earrings and more by Aunt B’s Baubles.
J & J Wool and Wood will be spinning and selling traditional and art yarn, woven scarves and shawls, home décor, reclaimed wood items and more…
Sevil Keech will have a selection of crocheted items including tomato creatures from New Orient Boutique.
Melissa Cole will have seasonal, holiday and event themed polymer clay gifts and jewelry from Three Daughters Clay.

Program Information and Giveaways by NY State of Health, NYS Department of Public Service, Cancer Service Program of Warren, Washington and Hamilton Counties, BHSN Therapeutic Foster Care and the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation.

Live Music by Mike Grazioso, free freshly brewed coffee, and a chance to win $20 in Farmers’ Market Bucks to spend with our vendors.
