Farm Tour (for Fellow Farmers) at North Country Creamery

“Join us for a tour, discussion and lunch at North Country Creamery, a 100% grassfed dairy in Keeseville, NY producing a diversity of cheeses and creamline yogurts on-farm. Along with a diversity of products, North Country Creamery has grown a diversity of marketing avenues, from retail on-site, farmers’ markets, CSA, and wholesale to various retail locations, as well as schools and institutions. Learn about ways NCC has recently scaled-up and streamlined yogurt production to serve their growing customer base sustainably. Hear about their rotational grazing practices, including plans to build resilience to drought. Even if you have toured NCC before, there are many new projects to catch up on.
Yogurt production happens on Mondays, so you’ll get the opportunity to see the facility in full swing!
This event is being hosted for those involved with farming and value-added food businesses interested in learning about how North Country Creamery has built diversified markets, strives for sustainable environmental practices, prioritizes the welfare and comfort of their herd, and is growing to feed many people within their communities and beyond. Growers and value-added producers from across the region are invited to attend.
