Local Businesses Create Resilience
During this challenging and uncertain time, many Adirondack food producers are responding in innovative ways to make sure their larger community stays fed and safe. The support community members can provide for area food producers, in turn, is, as always, incredibly important for the sustainability of the local economy. The need and demand for local food during this crisis demonstrates the importance of thriving local food businesses for the survival of communities.
Many businesses are adjusting their long-term workflow and strategy to offer safe access to local food. This resource page is designed to help you navigate the diverse array of local food businesses in the Adirondacks during the COVID-19 pandemic.
