At our annual fundraising dinner\, we gather together to share a meal centered around local food while supporting a local food business and sustaining programs that address food security. \nI invite you to join the GardenShare team in an evening that brings our passionate supporters together so that everyone in our community can have Healthy Food\, Healthy Farms\, Everybody Eats.” \nGardenShare’s Annual Dinner is a much anticipated event that showcases local bounty while raising money to support GardenShare. Together with Jake’s on the Water we invite you to join us for a seasonal\, locally sourced dinner and a GardenShare program update. \nProceeds from the dinner will support GardenShare’s efforts to make healthy\, sustainable food choices available to everyone in St. Lawrence County. \nThere will be a cash bar cocktail hour at 5:30 with dinner served at 6:30. Tickets are $110 per person. DESCRIPTION:The Fight Hunger 5K is an annual fundraising run/walk held during September\, which is also Hunger Action month. The race will be held at the Remington Trail starting at the Partridge Run Golf Course in Canton. The purpose of the event is to not only raise money\, but to raise awareness of GardenShare’s mission\, which is to promote a local food system that ensures food security for all St. Lawrence County residents. No pets\, not handicap accessible\, more details as the event develops.
