DESCRIPTION:Join us for a summer’s day full of art\, friends\, music\, food\, and fire. Come with family and friends to explore the grounds\, hang out by the campfire\, picnic on the lawn\, get your hands into some art-making\, and be a part of the first firing of our new wood kiln. This is your new Craigardan! \nExperience Craigardan’s new site\, view current and future plans\, + learn about summer programs and events. \nThis day celebrates our opening with the first firing of Craigardan’s new kiln\, the hearth and heart of our new home.  We’ll be firing the kiln all day\, and inviting you to participate in a community-wide project.  Stamp your name into a clay tile to be installed on the new campus and become a permanent part of something truly special. \nDuring the open house we’re picnicking on the lawn with gorgeous views overlooking Rocky Peak Ridge.  Throw a blanket out in the field or choose a table in the tent. Pizzas are available hot out of the wood-fired oven all day; and custom picnic totes with drinks\, snacks\, and goodies are available for a suggested donation. \n4-5pm // special guests \nPlan to spend happy hour with us and a line-up of special guest speakers including Loren Michael Mortimer\, Mary Barringer\, and Michele Drozd as we cut the ribbon\, share stories\, and start new traditions with you at Craigardan. \nMore info here.

There will be over 100 vendors offering fine food\, crafts and products. Shop our lavender farm specialty shop. Lavender plants and fresh arrangements will be available. Enjoy face painting and air brushing for young and young at heart! Lavender wine\, wine slushies along with lavender treats and drinks. There will be live music all day. This is a family friendly event. Festival activities occur outside rain or shine. Hopenhagen Farm is a working farm with unpaved pathways. It is handicapped accessible\, but with uneven terrain. Service dogs with papers only.
