DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the harvest season and the bounty of amazing vegetables\, pumpkins\, herbs\, and cut flowers in full bloom in the garden at DaCy Meadow Farm this fall. Farm-gardener Mary Godnick will be available to show you around and offer tips for harvesting. Bring a re-useable bag\, basket\, or box and fill it up with fresh food to take home and enjoy. Pay what makes sense for you\, $20 suggested donation for a big shopping tote full of goodies. \nThe Power of Produce Club will also be there doing special activities for kids! Kids will learn about vegetable growing in the fall\, and have the chance to pick their own little harvest as well. All kids programming is free. \nApple cider and fall-themed snacks will be provided. \nPlease pull in at the “DaCy Meadow Farm” sign and turn left. Watch for crossing chickens and park along the grass. No dogs\, please. Rain or shine. \nThe Power of Produce Club is a weekly kids program run by Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) of Essex County at the Lake Placid and Saranac Lake farmers’ markets. The goal of the club is to engage kids with fun activities while teaching them about local food\, science\, and agriculture.  \nDaCy Meadow Farm is a complete farmstay experience. Whether you hike on our trails\, stay as a lodging guest\, share a farm to table meal\, visit for a few hours\, a day\, a week\, volunteer\, become part of our extended farm family\, or create your own vision at DaCy Meadow Farm you are a valued part of our intentional community. DESCRIPTION:“The Patch” at Hidden Pastures Dairy will be open for you-pick pumpkins. The Hidden Pastures Dairy Farm Store will also be open each day through event along with a few extra local vendors selling products\, food and local baked goods. We will be giving out free servings of our goat milk gelato throughout the day. Please no pets. Handicap accessible through most of the area. The Patch is a short walk from the farm store and each family will be equipped with a wagon or cart to take along for the walk. \nHidden Pastures Dairy is “a husband and wife farming team dedicated to caring for the land\, our animals\, and our kids (human and goat alike). We produce our goat milk gelato with honesty and love. We have crafted our gelato to be a natural\, sweet\, delicious treat for you to enjoy. Products are organically grown. We offer u-pick\, retail\, wholesale\, and event venue. Lavender: Currently\, there are over 800 plants and we are still expanding. Lavender can be used in cooking and beauty products. We offer u-pick lavender and a variety of products for sale.
