SUMMARY:Essex Farm Tour
DESCRIPTION:​Mark will once again lead an introspective and adventurous tour through Essex Farm’s vegetable fields\, pasture\, and livestock areas. Afterward\, take an optional self-guided hike along the farm roads to some of the farm’s more remote areas. The Essex Farm Tour begins at 11 a.m. sharp in front of the Farm Store and takes place rain or shine. Participants should bring all-weather clothing and sturdy rubber boots and expect a long walk over rough terrain. EV chargers are available! \nThere is a suggested donation for this event: $5 for kids\, $10 for adults\, and free for Essex Farm CSA members. \nThis event is part of the 2022 Open Farm Weekend\, which runs from September 2-5 and features farms and small businesses along the Boquet Valley Cuisine Trail.
